Imagine rising with the sun, literally, in a hot air balloon. But then, the pilot tells you to hop in. No doors here, so you climb on over. From here, the only place to go is UP.
Balloon in the Willamette Valley by purchasing a ride from the Albany Visitors Association during the annual Wah Chang Northwest Art & Air Festival or by contacting the Albany Visitors Association to find a balloon pilot in the Willamette Valley.
After a great ride, exit the basket and take in the beautiful scenery and fresh air while your pilot and crew deflate the balloon and pack it all away. You will have been smart enough to have packed a picnic lunch and some pinot noir to enjoy right there in the field.
: Bringing an extra bottle of bubbly is a sure-fire way to make friends in the field.
Kick back at the Phoenix Inn Suites. Located just a mile from the fair grounds, this is the perfect spot from which your adventure can take flight.
