When your group visits Rickreall Dairy, LLC you will have the opportunity to do a number of things: bottle feed calves, see cows being milked and where they “live”, the different varieties of food that make up the cows’ diet and play in the cottonseed (one of the cows favorite foods!).  Remember, you will be on a working dairy farm, so dress appropriately.

E.Z. Orchards Farm Market
E.Z. Orchards Farm Market offers a wonderful farm experience for groups of all sizes.  The fourth generation farm grows apples, pears, peaches, pumpkins and corn.  They offer blossom tours in the spring, and have a fun filled Harvest Festival each October that includes: hay rides, a Lewis & Clark themed corn maze, mountain men re-enactors, a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, live bluegrass music, pony rides, and tasty fall treats.  During the summer months enjoy fresh fruit milk shakes, smoothies and delicious strawberry, blackberry and peach shortcakes.  E.Z. Vince Woods Farm
A part of the Woods’ family since 1913, the Vince Woods Farm has offered a pumpkin patch for 41 years.  They grow and sell wheat, pumpkins, gourds, squash, and ornamental corn available to the public during the month of October.  Visitors during this month can also enjoy hay rides, miniature horses and a clown on the weekends in October.  School tours are given on weekdays for $2 per person (advance scheduling required). Tours include 5-pound pumpkins and gourds, a viewing of the video “The Pumpkin Circle”, and trips through the corn maze, Pumpkin Forest and Pumpkin Caboose.

Bauman Farms
This fourth-generation family farm and garden center boasts flowers, 14 varieties of berries (including Oregon Marionberries), vegetables fresh from the garden, and more than 30 varieties of apples, peaches and pears. Autumn Fall Harvest Days takes place in October with hayrides, pumpkin patch, mazes, fresh pressed apple cider, and farm animals. The festivities also offer the opportunity to indulge in homemade pies, donuts, breads, old fashion fudge, jams and syrups.

Cooley’s Gardens, Inc.
Cooley’s Gardens, Inc. is a retail/wholesale grower of bearded iris.  In business since 1928, the fourth-generation of the Cooley Family manages the business, which has grown from a backyard hobby to one of the world’s largest iris farms covering about 200 acres.  Display gardens, specialized equipment and more are on display during bloom season, May 20-30.  Production tours are available by appointment from July through September.

French Prairie Gardens
French Prairie Gardens is a direct farm market, flowering nursery and offers seasonal u-pick produce.  The farm market is full of jams, syrup and country gifts.  Weekend festivals are also featured such as  the June Strawberry and the September Apple Festivals.  The Harvest Festival takes place the entire month of October.  The events are open to kids and adults of all ages; bring the whole family out for a day at the farm, complete with hay rides, corn mazes, pig races, pig barrel train rides, a 20 ft. slide and farm animals.  Educational tours for school groups and bus tours are also offered.  French Prairie Gardens is the perfect location for company picnics, birthday parties and family events.
