A small town with big city culture, Corvallis, Oregon has an abundance

a tour of local art galleries and local wineries? Join us as we meander
across Benton County from the heart of historic downtown Corvallis
to the tiny town of Wren. Indulge your creative senses and your
palate in the heart of the Willamette Valley. The route is approximately
30 miles round-trip and one hour driving time.
- Tyee Winery – Located on a Century Farm just south of downtown
Corvallis, Tyee Wine Cellars is a family owned and operated vineyard
and winery. Once a dairy farm, the vintage milking barn still
stands today and serves as an art gallery adjoining the tasting room.
- The Wine Vault – Housed in an old bank in the small town of Philomath, Oregon,
the Wine Vault is Pheasant
Court Winery's official tasting room,
and the old bank vault is still there!
- Belle Vallee – The only winery located within Corvallis city limits, Belle
Vallee’s tasting room is located on Corvallis’ historic riverfront
walk. Showcasing rotating exhibits by local photographers and
unique maps, Belle Vallee also offers outdoor seating during the
warmer months.
- Enoteca Wine Bar – Featuring both local and imported wines,
as well as a wide variety of espresso drinks and even a few microbrews,
this stop has something for everyone. Enjoy a variety of appetizers
with your wine as you browse the works of local painters in this
chic venue.
- Harris
Bridge Vineyard – Sip on dessert wines while enjoying a stroll
to the historic covered bridge at Harris Bridge
Vineyard. A perfect location for a picnic or a game of bocce ball,
this winery is worth the drive.
- The
Arts Center - Located in the heart of downtown Corvallis on
the edge of a rose-filled park, The Arts Center showcases local
art from all around the state. Housed in an historic church,
The Arts Center is more than just a gallery; local artists offer
classes and workshops year-round, and a fun gift shop is filled
with local goods.
- Dana Marie Art
Gallery - This chic and small gallery has just
opened showcasing the hand-painted wearable work of Corvallis-based
artist Dana Marie.
- Pegasus
Gallery - Featuring a wide array of art modes including sculpture,
photography and recycled art, this whimsical gallery is located
in an historic warehouse in downtown Corvallis. Thirsty? The
Oregon Trail Brewery adjoins the gallery, so stop off for a
pint of their delectable Ginseng Porter.
- Corvallis
Artisans Market - Every Saturday from mid-April to mid-October,
enjoy perusing artisans’ wares along the historic riverfront
at the Corvallis Artisans Market. Walking through a wide array
of eclectic local art, including a great selection of wearable
art, you can listen to local music and sample food from the
adjacent farmers market while you shop.
- Gateway
Gallery - Gateway Gallery was created in connection with a glass
blowing studio called Sneak Peek Glass. It features the work
of local artists in varying media, with a gallery emphasis on
art glass.
- The Gallery at Tyee Winery - Tyee Winery houses a small gallery
in a historic building on its century farm. With exhibits from
artists representing a wide array of styles, Tyee is always an
interesting stop.
- Harrison
House - Just blocks away from the historic Oregon State University
campus, this Dutch Colonial gem is the perfect retreat for those
who want to be in the middle of it all. If you are a foodie,
you will love the gourmet breakfasts!
